Lubricants for Car Components and Formula 1
There are many different lubricants that have been developed for car components in vans, trucks, and specialist vehicles like fire engines and all terrain vehicles, and some very special ones for the Formula 1 teams!
As well as providing an effective lubricant for the individual car component, the oils and greases must be environmentally friendly, have a long service interval, and be non-toxic.
We have a number of lubricants that are designed for car components. They include Formula 1 clutch release mechanisms, and in popular BMW and VW models, the seat belt tensioners, exterior mirror adjusters, alternators, starter motors, sliding roof mechanisms, seat rails and backrest adjusters, and electric window mechanisms. OEM Lubricant 77 which is a high speed grease with very low start-up friction, suitable for the high loads involved in the lubrication of seat belt tighteners.
OEM Lubricant 79 which is a low temperature, high speed grease with low coefficients of friction and low start up friction.It is used for the lifetime lubrication of starter motors.
OEM Lubricant 76 which is a very adhesive special grease providing excellent compatibility with elastomers for the lubrication of seat sliding rails in car seats.
OEM Lubricant 18 which is a long term lubricant for the exterior mirror adjusters. This lubricant is capable of withstanding all weathers and car wash machines etc.
