Mining and Quarrying

Mining and Quarrying operations use lubricants on their heavy equipment that are robust and effective in the harshest of operating environments, both on the surface and underground.

The movement of rock and mineral ores is heavy, dusty, dirty, and sometimes, very wet work. When these conditions are imposed on large bearings, chains, ropes, hawsers and railway systems, they demand lubricants of the highest specification. In Quarries and Mines, the lubricants are used under very high loads and widely varying temperatures.

OEM Lubricants 32 which is fully synthetic, and particularly suitable for open gear drives, ropes, driving chains, and conveyor chains. It is extremely adhesive and has a high load carrying capacity.

OEM Lubricants 30 which is an oil used for machines and equipment in groundwater preservation areas, with good low temperature properties, having a service range of -40°C to +160°C. It is especially effective on rails, curves and points.

OEM Lubricants 23 which is an adhesive spray lubricant with a honey-like consistency for outdoor chains and cables, oil tight couplings, and open drives. It has good penetrating properties and protection against wear.

OEM Lubricants 28, which are water resistant multi-purpose greases, suitable for high loads in equipment and machines like earth movers, large excavators, screening units, double roll crushers, and heavy duty conveyors.
