Vacuum Pump Lubricants

Vacuum Pump Lubricants

Lubricants used in vacuum pumps need to be extremely reliable as vacuum pumps usually operate as a vital part within another process. They need to give very long service intervals so as not to disrupt overall production.

Vacuum oils require special properties to work correctly in high vacuums pumps and to ensure that there is no breakdown of the lubricant itself. They need to be chemically stable, non combustible and be resistant to pressure, vacuum and sometimes radiation.

The suppliers of oils for vacuum pumps should be environmentally friendly, and there are already many companies that are benefiting from using

OEM Lubricant 111 is a fully synthetic grease, suitable for ultra Vacuum range up to 10 -9 mbar, and for use in roller and sliding bearings as well as seals. It is non-toxic and non-combustible with a service temperature range of -60°C to +280°C.

Neolube No.1 is a special assembly sliding agent for application on media wetted surfaces, with a service temperature range of -40°C to + 450°C. This product is also resistant to radiation up to 109 rad.

OEM Lubricant 112 are oils suitable for the lubrication of gears and bearings in Vacuum Pumps up to 10-9 mbar, with good viscosity-temperature behaviour, resistant to pressure, vacuum and radiation. These vacuum oils are chemically stable and non-combustible.

OEM Lubricant 105 are special oils suitable for vacuum and oxygen installations, hydraulic equipment and for heat transfer in the high temperature range. This oil can also act as an insulator in electric and electronic elements. The pressure dependence of the viscosity is small, and it has a low surface tension.
